As I mentioned last week, the Dallas Cowboys 2013 draft was a complete joke and dissappointment. Other than a Center we REACHED for in the 1st round, we did nothing to address our terrible offensive line. And to add insult to injury, we didn't draft any new defensive players til the later rounds. Instead, we took more skill players. Tight End, Receiver, Running Back. None of which were major needs for us. It pains me to say it, but I predict Dallas will finish last in the NFC East this year.
We took a 3rd round CENTER in the 1st round? HUH?!?! Could've picked up a much needed Saftey, or a defensive player that would fit our new defensive scheme. But NOOOO. INstead, we go off the rails and pick a guy we could've got much later, and miss out on the best Safety in the draft. Sorry, Jerry. I'm rapidly losing faith in you.
It's gonna suck. It's gonna pull a Spiderman. The first 2 were great, but the third one sucked. But no matter how bad it sucks, it won't be worse than The Avengers, or any Batman flick ever.

Highlights included the LUMINEERS, SOCIAL DISTORTION, VAMPIRE WEEKEND, and RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS. Social D always puts on a good show. I was walking to and from my car for the whole thing, but they sounded great. The Lumineers were good. Vampire Weekend sounded very good and were really tight as a band. RHCP were a little off to me. They just weren't nearly as tight. There were a few times when it seemed like they were trying to "jam" or change things up, but it didn't sound like the band was on the same page from time to time and missed a few beats. Most surprising thing about COACHELLA - No mosh-pits. I realize it ain't a metal show, but I've seen mosh-pits in some really stupid places. I thought one or two would breakout during the uptempo portions of Chilli Pep's performance. But no. I was quite happy to be wrong. I hate mosh-pits. Didn't see anyone flying "horns" at the show either. Which I was also thankful for. Again, I've see people flying horns in lots of places they don't belong. (MUSE for example)
