I'm not rejoicing in this at all. I love Stone Temple Pilots. However, I am well aware of all of the issues Scott Weiland has had over the past two decades. Besides having problems with STP, the dude has had problems in other areas. My biggest fear for him (besides health problems) is that he'll end up like Axl Rose.These reasons may explain why he was finally kicked out of the band that he founded.

1) His problems with Velvet Revolver. Wasn't he kicked out of that band too?

2) Women. Weiland has had some iffy'ness over the years regarding the women in his life. He was even charged with domestic violence at one point, accused by his ex-wife. More on that HERE.

I am not happy about any of this. This all bums me out and I feel that he needs to have a good, solid, clean life to succeed at this point. That's not me being preachy, but c'mon- he needs to get his life together. He needs to make more Christmas music.
