And here I thought he was busy trying to win awards and brooding on the internet like a teenage girl. There's actually NEW music expected under the Nine Inch Nails moniker and Trent Reznor confirms it!

Via Spin.com:

Trent Reznor says "all signs point to yes" in regards to a new Nine Inch Nails album. As Rolling Stone reports, in a separate interview about his work composing the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2score, Reznor reveals that, "Yeah, there will be new music. There are some things in the works." Also, despite billing the band's 2009 jaunt as a "farewell tour," NIN may play out again as well.

"Yeah, if it feels right, it's a possibility," he said. "I never said that that wasn't going to happen, just that it couldn't go on as it was. Having a few years doing other things, I've enjoyed [them] and I'm enjoying doing How to Destroy Angels, and there will be a place for stuff that falls in the Nine Inch Nails column ... It's a different kind of work. Stay tuned. We'll see what happens here."

Whaaaaaaat? Sure, he's still Vaguey McVague, but that's still good news! Read more HERE!

Now, let's all bask in Nine Inch Nails warming glow with this one. Hint to Reznor: more stuff like this, please!
