This Sunday at The Empty Space on Oak St. experience the triumph of women and their art at Out of the Ashes, Bakersfield's Sixth All Women's Art Show. The work of 30 artists will be on display in the gallery portion of The Empty Space, with performances happening in the theatre area. 20 vendors will be set up outside of the theatre and, of course, delicious food and wine.
The objective of this art show, like the many before it, is to bring together people from different walks of life in celebration of women and their art. This show truly shows the spirit of the growing arts scene in Bakersfield. Tickets are $5 and raffle tickets will be available for $1. The Empty Space is located at 706 Oak St., behind Pizzaville.
